An established industry player is seeking a Principal Structural Engineer to join their dynamic team. This role focuses on Nuclear New Build projects, particularly the design and analysis of reinforced concrete structures for nuclear power plants. As a result of our continued success and growth in the UK, we’re looking for a full-time Principal Structural Engineer to join our team working on Nuclear New Build projects, specifically focusing on Nuclear Island buildings of Hinkley Point C, Sizewell C, and similar projects. You will enjoy reinforcing your technical skills when working on the most complex buildings of a Nuclear Power Plant, cultivating strong working relationships in a multi-cultural environment to deliver outstanding results for our clients.
As a Principal Structural Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety, integrity, and reliability of the nuclear power plant structures. You will be responsible for managing and leading an international team in addition to various aspects of the design and structural analysis of reinforced concrete or steel structures.

With a background of working within the nuclear industry or another highly heavy industry sector, you’ll have an established career in Civil Structural Engineering, ideally with a Master's in Civil Engineering or an equivalent relevant subject. Additionally, you will also have the following:
