As a Principal Civil Structural Engineer, you will play a vital role in heavy civil engineering projects on Transformational Programmes for critical UK infrastructure, with opportunities to work on iconic engineering projects at home and abroad.

We specialise in heavy civil engineering across sectors like Defence, Energy, and Water. We provide industry-leading engineering solutions throughout the project lifecycle, including client-side support and construction phases. We currently have opportunities in our Bristol office.

Your Purpose

• Lead a team to undertake technical design work following relevant standards and codes, ensuring high quality.
• Prepare briefs, scopes of work, and contribute to bid proposals.
• Manage time and budgets effectively to meet project milestones.
• Collaborate with UK and overseas teams to deliver integrated design solutions.
• Adhere to quality assurance standards in design.

What you can bring

• Chartered Civil / Structural Engineer.
• Experience in leading design delivery, including multidisciplinary design.
• Strong knowledge in designing and analyzing heavy concrete and steel structures, familiar with British Standards and American codes.
• Proficiency with structural analysis packages.
• Experience in the nuclear sector, especially in safety-related structures (preferred but dependent on overall experience).
