Placements24 is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to lead architecture and drive innovation in Randburg. You will architect scalable systems, mentor engineers, and influence technology strategy across the product lifecycle.

The role requires deep expertise in distributed systems, cloud platforms, containers, and modern software design. Senior leaders collaborate with product and design to deliver high-impact outcomes.

Formación

• Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive software engineering experience.
• Expert-level proficiency in Java, C++, C#, Python, or Go.
• Deep knowledge of architecture, data structures, algorithms, and design principles.
• Experience designing distributed systems and microservices.
• Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Docker/Kubernetes.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases and performance tuning.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Ability to mentor and influence technical teams; strong communicator.
• Experience with Agile and CI/CD practices.
• Passion for technical excellence and innovation.

Responsabilidades
