Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Principal Software Engineer for its International Consumer Bank to deliver scalable, secure production code and AI-enabled engineering workflows across a distributed team.

You will collaborate with Product, Design, and Compliance to ship customer-centric features with high availability and low latency, empowering the bank to deliver seamless digital journeys at scale.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and advanced applied experience.
• Hands-on experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Expert proficiency in one or more programming languages.
• Experience designing and leading AI-enabled development practices with governance.
• Understanding of responsible AI use, security, and risk governance.

Responsibilities

• Creates complex and scalable coding frameworks using appropriate software design frameworks.
• Develops secure, high-quality production code and reviews code written by others.
• Architects AI-enabled engineering workflows to improve delivery speed and quality at scale.
• Applies SDLC tools to improve automation and value realization.
• Leads design and delivery of consumer-facing financial product features with high availability.
