Job summary

DISCO is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to shape and evolve our architecture using Distributed Domain Driven Design. You will drive the strategy for key architecture quality attributes such as availability, performance, and security, guiding teams to adopt best practices.

You will contribute to platform capability improvements and promote automation through tools and standards, ensuring scalable, reliable data-intensive systems in a multi-tenant environment.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with high-volume distributed architectures and reliability.
• Ability to design and communicate architecture across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proficiency in Domain Driven Design concepts and patterns.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the architecture using distributed domain-driven design.
• Lead architecture strategy and guide project teams with best practices.
• Coordinate platform capability enhancements and tooling across data and feature platforms.
• Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to stakeholders and leadership.
