Job summary

Netcompany in the UK is seeking a Software Architect to provide technical and architecture expertise, designing proofs of concept and testing feasibility for future services. You will partner with internal groups, third parties and suppliers to ensure architecture decisions are grounded in business needs and technical reality.

You will translate requirements into clear functional and non-functional specs, define roadmaps and observability, and participate in architecture review boards to shape

Qualifications

• Experience designing or implementing distributed system architectures.
• Experience as a technical architect or technical lead.
• Excellent problem solving and decision making skills.
• Experience working within an agile methodology.
• TOGAF or similar architecture qualifications.
• Experience with Java/C#.
• Experience with relational and document databases.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business and technology stakeholders to run discovery, clarify ambiguous requirements, and translate them into clear functional and non‑functional requirements
• Enable delivery and governance, collaborate with engineers to produce a detailed roadmap, define observability requirements (metrics, logs, traces), and participate in design reviews/architecture review boards
• Shape and document solution architectures and produce target-state and integration designs that are aligned to industry best practice
