The Energy Division at ARM is currently recruiting a Principal Safety Specialist to join a Nuclear Defense client based in Aldermaston.

• Use of hazard identification techniques, development of hazard and fault schedules
• Experience of undertaking nuclear hazard analysis (HAZAN)
• Design Basis Assessment Experience
• Unmitigated dose assessments to derive safety function classification
• Derivation of classification of the required safety systems
• Understanding of types of protection methods and the substantiation of those required
• Experience of developing and delivering a nuclear safety case
• Nuclear background – nuclear safety cases or nuclear safety assessments
• Valid DV clearance
