Oracle Cloud Infrastructure is building a Robotics Automation Platform to automate complex workflows across laboratory instruments, robotics systems, scientific data, and cloud services. We seek a Principal Software Engineer to design and implement core platform services, and to lead the foundation for the first pilots.

The role is a senior hands-on contributor, collaborating with PM, science teams, and automation vendors, with UK hybrid travel to Oxford as needed.

Formación

• Senior hands-on IC who can lead the design and implementation of core platform services.
• Collaborates with Product Management, Shared Experience & Authoring, Applied Science, OCI platform teams, customers and automation vendors.

Responsabilidades

• Design and build the Robotics Automation Platform foundation for pilots.
• Lead implementation of platform services and integrations with shared compute capabilities as needed.
• Define, run, monitor, troubleshoot, and improve automated workflows for robotic and instrument workflows.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and customers to enable scalable robotic automation in OCI.
