Job summary

Rowden Technologies Ltd. is seeking a Principal Platform Engineer to define and lead the engineering platform underpinning how we develop, deploy, and operate technology. You will shape architecture, raise engineering standards, and build scalable, secure, and observable systems.

You will collaborate across software, infra, ML, IT, product, QA and security, delivering a cohesive platform roadmap and hands‑on leadership in a fast‑moving, hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience designing, building, and operating engineering platforms at scale.
• Deep understanding of infrastructure‑as‑code, CI/CD, system design, and platform product thinking.
• Experience designing platforms that support agentic AI workloads and operational AI capabilities.
• Proven ability to define API strategies and enable interoperable integrations.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, FluxCD in production.

Responsibilities

• Define the technical architecture and long‑term direction of Rowden’s internal developer platform (IDP).
• Lead design and evolution of IDP capabilities including self‑service provisioning and deployment workflows.
• Define platform approach to agentic AI and runtime infrastructure for reliable AI deployment.
• Set API first standards for interoperability between systems and external partners.
• Own CI/CD pipelines governance for secure, efficient software delivery across the org.
• Drive modular platform capabilities for scalable use across teams.
