Thames Water in Reading is seeking a Principal Quantity Surveyor to lead a team supporting Major Projects and Programmes under AMP8. This full-time role oversees contractor programmes valued up to £200m annually, delivering commercial assurance and cost management.

As Principal Quantity Surveyor in Reading, you will lead a team supporting Thames Water’s Major Projects and Programmes under AMP8. This full-time position carries a competitive salary between £76,000 and £86,000, dependent on experience. You will oversee contractor programmes valued up to £200m annually, providing commercial assurance, contractual guidance, and vigilant cost management. Early identification of commercial challenges, including contingency and risk reporting, falls within your remit. Team leadership and professional development are key aspects, ensuring colleagues progress effectively. This role demands robust commercial acumen and clear communication to safeguard delivery of essential services across the region.
