Job summary

IFS is seeking a Product Designer to shape software for maintenance engineers, field service technicians, and operations planners. You will own the design from framing to production-ready Figma files within a cross-functional squad of engineers and PMs.

You will explore AI-driven features with a focus on usability and accessibility, and contribute to the IFS design system while ensuring WCAG 2.1+ standards are met from day one.

Qualifications

• 3+ years end-to-end product design experience with ownership of shipped work.
• Strong research skills: plan, conduct interviews, synthesize findings, define direction.
• Able to make decisions in cross-functional squads with engineers and PMs.
• Excellent Figma skills and solid visual craft.
• Accessibility considered from the start (WCAG 2.1+).
• Experience shipping AI-driven features is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own design for defined feature areas end-to-end—from framing to production-ready Figma files.
• Collaborate in a cross-functional squad with engineers and PMs; make real decisions.
• Present design thinking to stakeholders with evidence-based rationale.
• Plan and run user interviews, JTBD analysis, and journey mapping; translate into direction.
• Track qualitative and quantitative signals to drive iteration.
• Design AI-driven features with clear prompts, fallbacks, and human-in-the-loop moments.
• Contribute to a design system with reusable components and patterns.
• Apply WCAG 2.1+ accessibility standards from the start.
