Job summary

Funding Circle is seeking a Principal PM to lead the platform capabilities that power multiple products. You will define strategy, set roadmaps, and partner with Architecture, Product Engineering, and product leads for Loans, FlexiPay and Cards.

A strong focus on migrations and driving adoption across internal customers is essential. You will report to the Head of Engineering for Platform Capabilities, and succeed by enabling teams to ship faster, with better consistency and governance across

Qualifications

• Experience owning something other teams depended on by earning adoption.
• Technical depth for conversations with Engineers about trade-offs and migrations.
• Ability to engage Risk, Operations or Sales without authority.
• AI-native approach with Claude Code or Codex integrated into product thinking.
• Ability to align Architecture, Engineering, and Product leadership on a single roadmap.

Responsibilities

• Set the strategy and roadmap for platform capabilities (Identity & access, services, and engineering platform).
• Own migrations and drive adoption of new versions across teams.
• Collaborate with Architecture, Product Engineering and Leads on Loans, FlexiPay, and Cards to align roadmaps.
• Lead regular discovery with other functions and manage change to drive adoption.
• Measure success by faster delivery and teams’ ability to operate independently.
