Quantinuum seeks a Chief Platform Architect to lead the design of the Quantum Software Developer Platform, including access portals for quantum computers, hybrid workflow orchestration, tooling access, documentation, and security. You will guide cloud-native solutions, multi-region architecture, and a scalable portal framework while mentoring senior engineers and shaping the technical roadmap.

Qualifications

• 25+ years in software engineering, with at least 5+ years in a senior architect or lead role, specifically within developer platforms.
• Experience designing developer platforms and platform engineering teams.
• Excellent communication and ability to influence across technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Own the design and specifications of a high-performance developer platform.
• Refine quantum computer access API and web portal architecture for performance and scalability.
• Transform web portal into an application development framework using a cloud-based hybrid workflow engine.
• Define standard interfaces for hosting components for internal and external developers.
• Ensure security and reliability as the platform scales.
• Deliver cloud-based hybrid applications to end users.
• Define technology roadmap aligned with business goals and evaluate new technologies.
• Mentor senior engineers and establish best coding practices.
