Job summary

Quantinuum seeks a senior customer-facing technical leader to guide quantum computing solutions for strategic financial services customers. Depending on needs, the role can be Principal or Director, with responsibilities spanning technical discovery, use-case cataloging, and roadmap alignment.

You will work to identify high-value quantum applications, shape project scopes, and provide market feedback to research leaders while maintaining customer-facing engagements.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in mathematics, quantitative finance, computer science, or related field.
• 10+ years working in quantitative, computational, or advanced analytics programs within the financial services sector.
• (Director level only)Experience leading technical teams or managing direct reports in a customer-facing or applied research environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical leader for assigned strategic accounts, partnering with Strategic Account Executives on account planning, technical discovery, and solution development.
• Help customers identify high-value applications for quantum computing within financial services workflows and optimization challenges.
• Maintain a catalogue of industry-relevant use cases and support the development of customer-facing technical and proposal materials.
• Define project scopes with customers in collaboration with internal research teams, ensuring alignment with our technical roadmap and research strengths.
• Provide market and customer feedback to internal research leaders to keep roadmaps aligned with industry needs.
• Stay current on advances in quantum technology and financial industry trends, developing deep expertise in relevant quantum algorithms, use cases, and roadmap developments.
• (Director level only) Lead and develop the Solutions Architecture team, including coaching, performance management, and establishing best practices.
