UCD is seeking a Principal Nuclear Human Factors specialist to deliver exceptional work for clients in the Nuclear sector. You will manage a portfolio of HF projects, applying HF principles across industries, and mentor junior professionals.

Ideal candidates will demonstrate extensive HF project leadership, knowledge of standards, and experience in field studies, risk assessment, and user-centered design for safety-critical systems. British nationals preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree or post-graduate degree in ergonomics or a related science or engineering field.
• Excellent interpersonal/communication, report writing and presentation skills.
• Professional membership to a relevant chartered body (desirable).
• Must hold Security Check (SC) clearance for UCD.

Responsabilités

• Lead and manage Human Factors projects and teams in a nuclear context.
• Deliver client assignments across nuclear and other industries.
• Mentor junior HF professionals and guide project teams.
• Communicate and present HF findings to clients and stakeholders.
• Develop and implement Human Factors design guidelines and standards.
• Conduct field studies and observational research to inform design decisions.
