Job summary

ITI Group is seeking a Principal Nuclear Engineer to lead the design, development, and integration of advanced control systems across the nuclear industry. You’ll own solutions from concept to delivery, ensuring quality, performance and client satisfaction.

You will mentor teams, engage clients, and shape project planning, reporting and budgets. The role combines technical mastery with leadership across cross-functional teams on a global scale.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 7 years’ experience in systems engineering.
• Technical expertise with SCADA, PLC and HMI packages.
• Good understanding of project management, cost control and client management.
• Experience in highly regulated industries and application of systems engineering principles.
• Experience with system integration processes, tools and technologies.
• Excellent knowledge of quality management systems, processes and procedures.
• Experience working on client sites.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve complex system architectures, designs, and detailed specifications to meet client requirements.
• Manage integration of overall systems compatibility, performance and compliance.
• Lead testing and validation to verify design specs and performance criteria.
• Lead and approve comprehensive technical documentation including requirements, designs, test plans, and manuals.
• Coordinate testing and troubleshooting of bespoke systems.
• Lead commissioning at client sites and manage project budget and resources.
