Job summary

Palo Alto Networks is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to provide technical leadership in designing and delivering cloud security solutions. You will drive scalable architecture, hands-on coding, and manage the full product lifecycle across teams.

You will lead the ML lifecycle, ML infrastructure, and CI/CD, focusing on security, cost optimization, and collaboration with Product, SRE, QA, and Support to deliver secure, high-quality services.

Qualifications

• Extensive ML experience with frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Experience designing large-scale distributed systems on public clouds.
• Strong programming ability in Python, Go or Java.
• Hands-on with Terraform or CloudFormation and IaC practices.
• Proven lifecycle management of ML models from development to production.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for end-to-end cloud security solutions.
• Design scalable cloud security architecture and drive hands-on implementation.
• Establish best practices for model versioning, auditing and data privacy.
• Lead the ML lifecycle from development to production deployment and inference.
• Build automated CI/CD pipelines for backend and ML components.
• Evaluate and integrate cutting-edge MLOps tools to improve scale and reliability.
• Collaborate with Product, SRE, QA, and Support teams.
