Job summary

Morela is seeking a Security Assurance Lead to own and scale the assurance function across cloud, corporate, and AI capabilities. You will set baselines, drive continuous monitoring, and ensure evidence-backed security across DevOps, IT and Product Security Engineering.

You will collaborate with engineering, product, IT, and leadership, and engage with customers to shape security capability and governance in a fast-growing sovereign AI platform environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on CNAPP tooling experience (e.g., Wiz).
• Cloud security experience on major hyperscalers.
• Experience with ISO-based management systems and governance.

Responsibilities

• Shape and deliver the overall security strategy and build out the assurance function as the business grows.
• Set baselines for cloud, IT and product teams and verify them independently.
• Define evidence testing needs and assure processes used to build the product.
• Embed and improve security tooling across the full SDLC.
• Test and verify AI controls and own the baseline evidence pack.
• Produce AI risk assessments and security posture reporting per ISO/Act requirements.
• Support ISO 27001 and enterprise compliance management.
• Champion good security practices across engineering teams.
