AMC Consultants is seeking a Principal Mining Engineer to join our UK office. You will ensure the technical delivery of projects, manage risk and quality, and develop client relationships across pre-feasibility, feasibility, site assessment, remediation and decommissioning phases.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering, 15+ years of experience, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and willingness to travel internationally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or related discipline required.
• 15+ years of industry experience with recognised expertise in at least one primary area.
• Fluent in English; working rights in the UK are essential.

Responsibilities

• Contribute strong technical expertise across a range of projects, mining methods and environments.
• Provide consulting support and practical engineering solutions.
• Project management of technical studies and assignments as required.
• Contribute to due diligence activities.
• Delivery of high-quality reports, presentations and project documentation.
