Morson Edge in the United Kingdom is seeking a Principal Engineer – Mechanical Engineering (Platform Systems) to support the local team and enable progression of platform systems to the next design gateway review. You will create and review analyses and engineering deliverables and help maintain the local project plan and schedule activities.

You will also ensure compliance with contractual, safety and environmental standards, and deliver technical input for build, acceptance and change

Qualifications

• Experience providing engineering support to a Team Lead and Engineering Manager.
• Ability to create and review analysis and engineering deliverables.
• Develop and maintain local project plans and schedules, and manage issues.
• Produce documentation to support design reviews, including diagrams and specifications.
• Ensure compliance with contractual, safety, environmental and local processes.
• Undertake design reviews and present to customers.
• Provide technical support to acceptance activities and supplier documentation review.

Responsabilités

• Develop design solutions to time, cost and quality milestones.
• Manage requirements and acceptance criteria for systems and platforms.
• Understand contractual requirements and support events through design, build and commissioning.
• Deliver design evidence and calculations endorsed by authority levels.
• Ensure design proving evidence is captured in requirements tools.
• Provide support across build, defect resolution and change management.
