Millbank Holdings is seeking a Principal Mechanical Engineer to lead mechanical engineering activities on chemical process and pilot plant projects. You will guide technical direction, ensure designs meet requirements and safety standards, and mentor a growing team of engineers and designers.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) status, or actively working towards registration
• Experience delivering mechanical engineering projects within chemical/process industries, including pilot plants
• Experience leading engineering activities and mentoring mechanical engineers and designers
• Strong knowledge of mechanical design, equipment specifications, engineering calculations, technical reviews and design documentation
• Experience working within multidisciplinary project teams from scope development to delivery
• Understanding of technical, operational and safety considerations in chemical processing environments
• Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills

Responsabilités

• Lead mechanical engineering activities: provide technical direction across pilot plant and chemical process engineering projects
• Deliver pilot plant solutions translating process design requirements into robust mechanical solutions
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams with process, piping, structural, electrical, instrumentation and control engineers
• Review and approve designs, equipment specifications and technical documentation ensuring safety and quality
• Support project execution including scope development, procurement, supplier engagement and change control
• Drive technical innovation and continuous improvement across projects
• Maintain compliance with legislation, industry standards and process safety requirements
• Mentor engineers and designers to develop a high-performing team
