Job summary

Pin Point Recruitment are recruiting an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join a well-established chemical manufacturing organisation at its West Thurrock site. You will lead mechanical engineering activities across the site and provide technical expertise on piping, pressure vessels, rotating equipment, heat exchangers, boilers and air compressors.

The role requires senior experience in Chemical, Oil & Gas or a similar Upper Tier COMAH environment, with knowledge of mechanical

Qualifications

• Senior experience in chemical, oil & gas or Upper Tier COMAH environments.
• Experience delivering multimillion-pound capital projects.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical engineering activities across the West Thurrock site.
• Provide technical expertise on piping, vessels, pumps and other equipment.
• Support design, installation and commissioning of new equipment and projects.
• Work with maintenance and inspection teams to improve reliability and performance.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and regulatory standards.
