Millbank Holdings is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to work on complex projects from concept through installation and commissioning. A Mechanical Engineering degree (or equivalent experience) and awareness of regulated environments are preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or HNC/HND with substantial industry experience.
• Working towards or holding Incorporated Engineer (IEng) or Chartered Engineer (CEng) status through a recognised professional institution such as IMechE.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, technical governance, quality standards and engineering best practice.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with colleagues, clients and stakeholders at all levels.
• Working knowledge of relevant UK engineering legislation and standards, including UKCA/CE Marking, CDM Regulations, PUWER, LOLER, PED, and the Machinery Directive.

Responsabilités

• Deliver mechanical engineering solutions across all project phases, from initial design concepts through to manufacture, installation, and final commissioning.
• Coordinate and manage engineering and design activities, ensuring work is completed to project requirements and timelines.
• Assess technical, legislative, and compliance requirements whilst supporting risk identification and mitigation activities.
• Produce and maintain key engineering documentation including technical specifications, calculations, and engineering reports.
• Review and present technical solutions, drawings, and engineering deliverables to project teams and stakeholders.
