Overview

You will lead the mechanical design of critical infrastructure projects across the UK and internationally, contributing to iconic engineering programmes in sectors such as Water, Defence, and Energy. Responsibilities and Duties
  • Lead a team to deliver high-quality mechanical design solutions in line with relevant standards and codes.
  • Prepare technical briefs, scopes of work, and support bid proposals.
  • Manage project timelines and budgets effectively, ensuring delivery within set milestones.
  • Collaborate with UK and international teams to develop integrated design solutions.
  • Ensure all work adheres to quality assurance standards and safety legislation, including CDM and ATEX.
  • Provide client-side support and construction phase involvement to ensure project success.
  • Stay up-to-date with UK design standards, legislation, and industry best practices.
Desired Skills and Experience
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical equipment such as pumps, blowers, screens, and chemical dosing systems.
  • In-depth understanding of UK standards, design codes, and working practices.
  • Experience with legislation such as CDM and ATEX.
  • Proven leadership skills in managing teams and project delivery.
Qualifications/Educational Requirements
