Job summary

Konker is seeking a Principal Mechanical Engineer to lead Building Services projects in Birmingham City Centre, with hybrid working. The role offers senior responsibility, project ownership, and a clear route to leadership, with a salary up to ~£68,000 plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Proven Mechanical Building Services design experience in a consultancy environment.

• IES experience would be highly advantageous.

About the Consultancy

This Building Services Design specific consultancy is now looking to strengthen their Birmingham team with a Principal Mechanical Engineer who can take ownership of projects, support junior engineers and play a key role in the continued growth of the office.

Working across Mechanical, Electrical, Sustainability, BIM and Acoustics, they provide a truly multi-disciplinary environment where engineers can work on technically challenging projects while continuing to develop their careers.

The Role

You'll be responsible for leading Mechanical Building Services projects from concept through to completion, working closely with Associates and Directors while maintaining a hands‑on approach to design.
