Job summary

Morson Edge in Barrow-in-Furness, UK, is seeking a mechanical design engineer to join the Propulsor team. The hybrid role, inside IR35, focuses on the design, materials selection and manufacturability of submarine propulsors across multiple platforms.

You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, assess materials and coatings, and ensure cradle-to-grave design compliance while handling metallic and composite components.

The Propulsor team supports the design, manufacture, installation and refurbishment of Submarine Propulsors across multiple Submarine platforms.
