Job summary
Pick Everard is seeking a Principal Building Services Engineer (Mechanical) to join our Nottingham team with flexibility for other locations. You will lead multi-disciplinary portfolios, deliver designs and calculations, and mentor junior staff while ensuring projects meet scope, time, and budget.
We value Chartered engineers with strong UK Building Regulations knowledge, HVAC expertise, and proficiency in IES, Hevacomp, AutoCAD, and Revit MEP.
Qualifications
- HND/Degree in Building Services Engineering (Mechanical) or related discipline or equivalent
- Chartered Engineer (CEng) or IEng, or working towards this status
- Significant experience in mechanical building services/HVAC design, including domestic water services, ventilation, heating, and cooling
Responsibilities
- Deliver portfolios of work across private and public sectors, managing various contracts
- Prepare designs, feasibility studies, technical reports, and contract documents
- Carry out building analysis and provide system design calculations
- Liaise with Clients and Contractors
- Ensure projects are delivered accurately and on time
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers and graduates
- Comply with Health & Safety requirements, practices and procedures
