Position Summary:

OLG is hiring a Lead Process Engineer to lead process delivery within projects, executing consultancy and design work across various sectors.

The candidate should be experienced in process design from concept to detailed design, with expertise in chemical and pharmaceutical applications.

Ideally, the candidate is a Chartered Engineer with 10-15 years of relevant experience, preferably with consultancy or contracting background. Experience with chemical engineering design tools like ASPEN or PEL and leadership or coaching skills are highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process Leadership: Manage process delivery, ensure compliance, plan resources, and develop as a subject matter expert.
• Project Delivery: Lead process teams, liaise with clients and project managers, ensure design standards, generate and review process models and documents, and address safety and technical risks.
• Continuous Improvement: Develop procedures and standards, identify process development opportunities.
• Business Development: Support sales activities, lead proposal development, and scope of work preparation.

Other Requirements:

• Chemical Engineering degree recognized by IChemE.
• Knowledge of process safety regulations, DSEAR, hazardous area classification is an advantage.
• Experience in commissioning or similar roles.
• Strong communication skills.
• Legally permitted to work in the UK.
• UK Driving Licence.
