- Completing DSEAR risk assessments and compliance activities.
- Mentoring and developing junior engineers.
- Reviewing and producing explosion safety strategies.
- Developing and documenting processes and policies for the site.
- Experience in explosion safety engineering, hazard analysis, and hazard identification.
- Proficiency in DSEAR risk assessment production, preferably from high hazard industries.
- Thorough understanding of Hazardous Area Classification (HAC) and proven track record in implementing strategic business processes.
- Degree in a STEM discipline.
- Experience with COMAH (Control of Major Accident Hazards) and Safety Case support.
- Site Asset Protection and Fire Safety Engineering experience.
