Are you an experienced Process Engineer looking for a new position in the Water sector?
Join Stantec, a globally recognised leader in Water and natural resources.
We are seeking a talented Principal Process Engineer with experience in Wastewater to join our dynamic team in our Brighton, Ashford, Kings Hill or Southampton offices in the South of England. We partner with key clients as strategic advisors, setting the industry standard according to NCE listings.
In this pivotal role, you will lead Wastewater projects from inception through to construction, leveraging your technical expertise to support Project Managers and ensure high-level execution—meeting cost, schedule, and quality objectives while exceeding client expectations.
You will also mentor & develop a team of Process Engineers across the region and foster strong relationships across multidisciplinary teams throughout the business.
About You
A degree in Chemical/Process Engineering (or equivalent)
Ideally Chartered with demonstrable experience in the water industry
Experience working in a design and construction environment is preferable
Experience in key process skills, including: process calculations, mass balance, control philosophy, commissioning, HAZOPs, and P&ID development
The ability to translate client needs into actionable solutions and guide project execution effectively
Strong leadership and communication skills, both written and verbal
Experience managing staff and fostering a culture of continuous learning
