Job description

Job title: Principal Process Safety Engineer

Location: East Cowes, United Kingdom (Hybrid and flexible working arrangements available; please consult your recruiter for details)

What you’ll be doing:

  • Completing DSEAR risk assessments and compliance activities
  • Mentoring and developing junior engineers
  • Reviewing and producing explosion safety strategies
  • Developing and producing process and policy documentation for the site

Your skills and experiences:

  • Experience in explosion safety engineering and hazard analysis methods
  • Experience in DSEAR risk assessment, hazard identification, and analysis (preferably in high hazard industries)
  • Understanding of Hazardous Area Classification (HAC) and proven track record in implementing business processes
  • Degree in a STEM discipline
  • Experience with COMAH (Control of Major Accident Hazards) and Safety Case support
  • Site Asset Protection and Fire Safety Engineering experience
