Job summary
QinetiQ is seeking a Principal IT Data Systems Engineer to lead digital engineering projects across multiple UK sites, focusing on IT data systems integration, AI applications, and governance. You will act as a Technical Leader and Product Owner, guiding cross-disciplinary teams to deliver high-quality outputs that meet customer and project goals.

Qualifications
- Experience with IT systems integration and data management.
- Knowledge of AI in complex technical solutions.
- Strong systems engineering principles and agile delivery
- Proven delivery of IT and digital engineering projects
- Excellent leadership and stakeholder engagement
- Good judgement in technical decision making and governance
Responsibilities
- Lead technical delivery across Waterfall and Agile projects.
- Ensure delivery of high-quality outputs within time and budget.
- Maintain engineering processes and governance compliance.
- Translate requirements into technical solutions and user stories.
- Identify technical risks and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
- Drive innovative IT data, AI and digital engineering solutions.
