Job summary

QinetiQ is hiring a Principal Technical Lead to oversee the design and delivery of a coherent system for the Share Computing Environment at UK sites. You will manage a multi-disciplinary team, engage with stakeholders, and ensure solutions meet life-cycle requirements with strong technical leadership.

Role includes development of design certifications, delivery plans, documentation, testing schedules and roadmaps. Requires DV clearance and travel to different QinetiQ locations.

Qualifications

• First degree in Science or Engineering or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing work across a multi-disciplinary technical team, coaching engineers.
• Interpreting and shaping requirements with internal/external customers and stakeholders.
• Leading engineering teams to deliver complex solutions and providing technical leadership for programme delivery.
• Providing technical assurance through appropriate standards.
