Job summary

A leading consultancy firm in Glasgow is seeking an experienced Consultancy Quantity Surveyor to deliver cost estimates and manage procurement for significant infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate should have a RICS accredited degree in Quantity Surveying and proven client-facing experience. Qualifications

• RICS or equivalent accredited degree in Quantity Surveying.
• MRICS Chartered status or actively working towards it.
• QS experience in a Consultancy environment.
• Experience in energy & power, transportation, water, highways or wider infrastructure sectors.
• Proficiency in delivering early cost estimates and cost plans.

Responsibilities

• Deliver early cost estimates and cost plans for infrastructure projects.
• Prepare and manage end-to-end procurement aligned to NEC principles.
• Evaluate supplier capability and conduct negotiations.
