Job summary

Diodes Incorporated in the United Kingdom is seeking an Industrial Engineer/Digital Manufacturing Engineer to join our team overseeing silicon wafer fabrication processes and related tools. You will work with IT, technology development and factory engineering to develop, implement, sustain and improve systems that control, report, and model process steps.

Qualifications

Degree/HND in industrial, manufacturing or engineering discipline.
Relevant experience in Industrial Engineering/ software role within Semiconductor industry.
High level of IT literacy.
Knowledge of volume production engineering principles, systems and MES such as PROMIS.
Strong lean and six sigma experience.

Responsibilities

Own capacity and cost modelling of the whole manufacturing process on site.
Own reporting systems to support operational management.
Own structure and setup of Routes in MES system.
Prepare output, cost and profitability metrics for historical and forecast periods.
Identify capital improvement/expansion projects.
Drive value stream management to improve cycle times and reduce stock and WIP.
Participate in cross functional teams.
