Job summary

Qualifications

• PhD in microbiology, nutritional sciences, biochemistry, molecular physiology, or microbiome/systems biology.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage high-profile projects advancing diet–microbiome–host interactions to micronutrient status and health across life.
• Secure significant funding in line with discipline expectations.
• Build and sustain collaborations with researchers, industry and other stakeholders.
• Lead research teams, supervise postdoctoral researchers, and support career development.
• Write and publish high-quality research papers and provide expert commentary in media.
• Promote world-class science excellence, collaboration and integrity.
• Develop strategies for social and economic impact through research.
• Promote the Institute by liaising with government and industry; develop opportunities.
• Disseminate findings and enhance the Institute’s international reputation at conferences.
