The Quadram Institute invites applications for an ambitious Group Leader (Professor or Associate Professor equivalent) or Career Track Group Leader (Assistant Professor equivalent) to establish an independent research programme focused on how food and diet influence the human gut microbiome and host health.

This strategic appointment comes with a substantial package up to £500,000 and access to core facilities.

Qualifications

• PhD in a relevant scientific area (Essential).
• Excellent publication record demonstrating impact in microbiome science.
• Experience attracting competitive research funding.
• Experience leading and mentoring research teams.
