Job summary

BAM UK & Ireland is seeking a Senior or Principal Geotechnical Engineer to lead technically excellent geotechnical delivery across Scotland, with travel to the North of England and Midlands as required. Based from the Kilsyth office, the role is predominantly site-based and requires regular travel and occasional stays away from home.

You will provide senior technical leadership, oversee project delivery, ensure safety and engineering standards are met, and contribute to complex ground

Qualifications

• Required experience delivering geotechnical works and supervising project teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication at all levels is essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintain open communication with Geotechnical team on project progress.
• Lead safe, efficient delivery of geotechnical works to high technical standards.
• Supervise and mentor project team to develop others.
• Develop and maintain relationships with client, supply chain and third parties.
• Ensure safety and environmental standards on site.
• Monitor project costs and report changes to client.
