Job summary

Fitch Group is seeking a principal ML/AI engineer to join our London or Manchester team. You will build and support Generative AI, ML, DL and data science solutions across the organization, aligning with product squads and governance policies.

You will design Gen AI and MLOps platforms, set tech stack standards, and collaborate with AI governance and enterprise architecture squads to ensure safe, scalable deployments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as ML/AI engineer.
• Production-grade Python development.
• Experience with Gen AI frameworks and LLM fine-tuning.
• Experience building Gen AI platforms and scalable AI solutions.

Responsibilities

• Build, integrate, and deploy GenAI, multi-AI-Agents and data science solutions.
• Design and develop Gen AI, AI Agents and MLOps platforms and apps.
• Set standards for AI tech stack and data science models across enterprise.
• Collaborate with governance, enterprise architecture, and AI implementation squads.
• Maintain SLAs for Production apps and create metrics to improve ML performance.
