Job summary

Cumberland Council in Carlisle is looking for a permanent finance professional to join the Finance Team. The role covers financial advice, budget setting and monitoring, reporting and forecasting, and developing business cases.

You will work on change projects and support the Capital Programme, building relationships across services through effective business partnering. Hybrid working is available and the role is 37 hours per week.

Job description

This permanent post sits in the Finance Team at Cumberland Council, supporting essential services through financial advice, financial management and business partnering. The work covers budget setting and monitoring, financial reporting and forecasting, business cases and change projects, with a particular focus on the Council's Capital Programme.
