Job summary

Worcestershire County Council is seeking a permanent member of the Service Finance team within the Chief Financial Officer department. The role combines budget management, forecasting and reporting, with a strong change-management element and a hybrid working arrangement.

You will help redesign how finance services are delivered to clients, customers and partners, influencing current and future service delivery while collaborating across teams and with stakeholders.

Job description

A permanent post in the Service Finance team of Worcestershire County Council's Chief Financial Officer department, one part of a wider finance function. The role supports the redesign of how finance works with the council's clients, customers and partners, combining budget management, forecasting and reporting. It is distinct for its change management element, giving the post-holder a part in shaping how finance services are delivered now and in future, on a hybrid basis.
