Job summary

WPP Enterprise Solutions in London seeks a Principal Solutions Architect to lead end-to-end enterprise commerce engagements across web storefronts, mobile apps, data and ERP. You will craft architectures, run discovery workshops and steer platform selection to maximize client value.

You will build compelling business cases, demonstrate solutions with PoCs, and guide delivery through governance, ensuring alignment with revenue, margin and cost-to-serve. Hybrid role with weekly travel.

Qualifications

• Extensive senior experience in enterprise commerce across brands or B2B.
• Breadth of knowledge across Adobe Commerce, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Shopify and composable/MACH components.
• Track record of shaping and winning significant commerce deals, workshops and proposals.

Responsibilities

• Client engagement: build trusted executive relationships and run discovery workshops.
• Solution design: produce end-to-end architecture diagrams for storefronts, apps, ERP and data integrations.
• Platform selection and replatforming: guide customers through monolithic to composable migrations, TCO and speed to market.
• Data, integration and back-office: design integration patterns with ERP, order management and analytics.
• Mobile and omnichannel: shape mobile app strategy and headless commerce across channels.
• Business case and value: build ROI models linking tech decisions to revenue and margin.
• Demonstrations and POCs: create demo storefronts to illustrate value.
• Proposals and pitches: own architecture and effort estimates in client proposals.
