Job summary

Acro Aircraft Seating is recruiting a Principal Engineer – Engineering Support to lead a team delivering high-quality engineering support across the full product lifecycle. You will own post-handover engineering activity, including AOG support, while partnering with Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain and Operations.

The role requires strong technical leadership, stakeholder management and alignment of customer, operational and business needs.

Qualifications

• Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering degree 2:1 or above.
• Experience with structured problem solving.
• Experience in aircraft seating or interiors industry.
• Proven ability to lead and develop engineering teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and development for the Engineering Support team.
• Own engineering support activities across product lifecycle.
• Lead aftermarket and in-service projects with cross-functional coordination.
• Act as technical focal point for issues in service and production.
