• Be the primary point of contact for multiple projects with responsibility for deliverables and costs.
• Strong ability to lead cross-functional teams in civil/structural design.
• Experience mentoring staff and graduates within a multidiscipline engineering group.

Responsibilities

• Be the single point of contact for multiple projects with management responsibility for deliverables and costs.
• Report to the Senior Engineering Manager.
• Represent Applied Engineering in project team meetings and check designs.
• Carry out civil/structural designs and act as checker on other designs.
• Undertake site visits when appropriate.
• Collect feedback and contribute to lessons learned.
• Prepare integrated permanent works proposals to meet bid and project requirements.
• Manage design work of staff and external designers.
• Mentor staff including graduates.
• Collaborate with other Principal Engineers for department growth.
