Qualifications

• Degree in civil engineering (HND/Bachelor’s/Master’s) or equivalent.
• Proficient in concrete and steelwork design using software and hand calculations.
• Ability to work autonomously or within a team.
• Strong communication skills and relationship-building.
• Willingness to visit sites and offices.
• Pursuing chartership with ICE or IStructE.

Responsibilities

• Represent the MAE team in collaborative project meetings.
• Report to Senior/Principal Design Engineer or Senior Engineering Manager.
• Carry out civil and structural designs.
• Undertake site visits when appropriate.
• Collate feedback and contribute to lessons learned.
• Prepare fully integrated permanent works proposals to meet bid and project delivery requirements.
• Mentor junior staff and graduates within MAE.
