Job summary

Evolito Limited is seeking a Principal Technical Specialist - Electromagnetics to lead the advancement of 3D electromagnetic FEA simulations and motor modelling. You will improve accuracy and speed in Simulia Opera and MATLAB/Simulink, collaborating with project teams on magnetic design, thermal performance, and high-volume manufacture readiness.

You will drive feature development, model refinement, and documentation, while applying your expertise to a range of electric machine applications for

Qualifications

• Experience designing electric machines (PMSM or switch reluctance).
• Expertise in 3D magnetic FEA methods and tooling.
• Strong understanding of electromagnetic theory in electrical machines.

Responsibilities

• Advance and maintain 3D electromagnetic FEA codebase with new features and efficiency gains.
• Refine models for nonlinear magnetic behaviour and high-frequency effects.
• Document internal simulation workflow, code, methods and design.
