SES Engineering Services is recruiting a Principal Electrical Technical Manager to join our SES North team, focusing on high-profile, technically complex mechanical and electrical projects across multiple sectors.

This role combines leadership, governance and hands-on technical accountability for MEP services, with opportunities to influence strategy and drive excellence throughout pre- and post-contract activities.

Responsibilities

• Work-winning and delivery of live projects while providing strong leadership, governance and engineering excellence for all activities pre and post contract.
• Be accountable for adherence to business processes, Design Reviews, and coaching of MEP Designers.
• Provide technical accountability for the mechanical and electrical services on the project, and develop Preconstruction Leaders and Project Managers.

What You'll Be Doing

Our Principal Electrical Technical Managers are a valuable part of our business, and their role will encompass both work winning and the delivery of live projects whilst providing strong functional leadership, management, governance and excellence for all engineering activities pre and post contract, across either a single large project or portfolio of projects.

As Our Principal Electrical Technical Manager, You Will

• Be accountable for adherence to relevant business processes, undertaking Design Reviews, coaching of MEP Designers & management of technical actions.
• Attendance, contribution & collaborationregarding: -‘Making a Great Start' & Strategy Presentations&IPD Workshops.
• Technical accountability for the mechanical engineering servicesfor the project.
• Accountability for technical assessment, coaching and development of Preconstruction Leaders, Design Project Managers & Project Managers & Engineers.
