SES Engineering Services in Manchester is seeking a Senior Electrical Project Engineer to lead the electrical services on complex M&E projects. You will drive design management, procurement, commissioning and client handover while coordinating with internal and external stakeholders across the Northwest.

You will provide technical leadership, ensure safety and quality, and mentor the electrical team to deliver on programme and commercial targets.

Responsibilities

• Lead the electrical services engineering elements of projects from pre-construction through to completion, including design management, procurement, commissioning, and client handover.
• Lead the delivery of electrical works on site, ensuring safety, quality, programme performance, and commercial control, while liaising with stakeholders.
• Provide technical leadership and drive best practice across all electrical installations.
• Manage and coordinate electrical subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams, ensuring works meet project specs and regulations.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the electrical engineering team within the wider MEP and construction teams.

What you'll be doing:

• Lead the electrical services engineering elements of projects from pre-construction through to completion, including design management, procurement, commissioning, and client handover.
• Lead the delivery of electrical works on site, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, programme performance, and commercial control, while liaising closely with internal and external project stakeholders.
• Provide technical leadership and expertise throughout the project lifecycle, identifying solutions to engineering challenges and driving best practice across all electrical installations.
• Manage and coordinate electrical subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams, ensuring works are delivered in accordance with project specifications, relevant regulations, and client requirements.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the electrical engineering team, promoting collaboration and ensuring seamless integration with the wider MEP and construction teams to achieve successful project outcomes.
