Job summary

SES Engineering Services in the Northwest seeks a Senior Electrical Project Engineer to lead delivery of technically complex electrical packages from pre-construction to handover, coordinating design, procurement, commissioning and client liaison.

You will mentor the electrical team, work closely with MEP colleagues and site teams to drive safety, quality and programme performance while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications

• Experience leading electrical projects from design through handover.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder liaison abilities.
• Knowledge of safety, quality, and regulatory standards in construction.

Responsibilities

• Lead the electrical services engineering elements of projects from pre-construction through to completion, including design management, procurement, commissioning, and client handover.
• Lead the delivery of electrical works on site, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, programme performance, and commercial control, while liaising closely with internal and external project stakeholders.
• Provide technical leadership and expertise throughout the project lifecycle, identifying solutions to engineering challenges and driving best practice across all electrical installations.
• Manage and coordinate electrical subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams, ensuring works are delivered in accordance with project specifications, relevant regulations, and client requirements.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the electrical engineering team, promoting collaboration and ensuring seamless integration with the wider MEP and construction teams to achieve successful project outcomes.
