Job summary

Arup is seeking a talented Chartered / Incorporated Principal Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design across major projects from inception to completion. You will guide multi‑disciplinary teams, coordinate with engineering specialists, and contribute to net‑zero focused design.

The role is based in London, with opportunities to progress into senior leadership and project management. You will mentor engineers, develop design programmes, and represent the Electrical discipline in internal

Qualifications

Chartered / Incorporated Principal Electrical Engineer for leadership of multi‑disciplinary projects.
Proven ability to lead electrical design across complex schemes and manage interfaces with other disciplines.
Experience mentoring junior engineers and developing technical teams.

Responsibilities

Produce electrical and MEP designs on projects from inception to completion.
Lead design development of electrical systems and coordinate with other disciplines.
Coordinate design analysis and optimize systems with the team.
Support resource delivery, design programme and project objectives.
Represent Electrical discipline in meetings and mentor junior engineers.
Opportunity to act as Project Manager for resourcing and delivery.
